Last reviewed: February 22, 2026

Indian passport holders can visit Dubai and the UAE either by obtaining a visa on arrival at Dubai International Airport or by applying for an eVisa online before travel. The UAE offers a 30-day renewable visa on arrival for Indian citizens holding valid US, UK, or EU visas, as well as an eVisa option for all eligible applicants. Indian citizens without qualifying third-country visas must apply for a UAE eVisa before departure.

The visa on arrival is valid for 14 days and can be extended once for an additional 14 days at an ICA service centre. A fee applies at time of stamping.

Important: Indian citizens without a valid qualifying third-country visa must apply for a UAE eVisa before departure. Visa on arrival cannot be obtained at all ports — verify before travel.

Applications are entirely online. eVisas come in 30-day (single or multiple entry) and 60-day options. Most applications are approved within 24–72 hours. Approved eVisas must be presented at check-in and on arrival.
